Naruto Shippuuden Episode 45 - The Results of Betrayal
Captain Yamato, Naruto and Sakura conclude that Danzou wants to overtake Konoha in order to become Hokage of the village himself. He wants to team up with Orochimaru because of the incident that occurred three years ago, and needs to join forces with him because he has a strong army. It is now revealed that Sai’s secret mission is to gain Orochimaru’s trust and serve as a liaison between him and Danzou. Meanwhile, Sai is following Kabuto and Orochimaru close behind while Yamato’s clone continues to pursue them in the shadows. Kabuto senses another presence and informs Orochimaru immediately, but it seems he already knows that. However, Kabuto can’t decide whether that person is aiding Sai or tailing him down. Orochimaru reassures them that either way they’ll end up with a corpse in their hands. Kabuto smirks and unexpectedly turns around with a kunai in his hand to attack Sai.
